Money raised here paid for George's Footsteps therapy programmes for 2010 and part of 2011.

George's Walk 2010

This walk was arranged as a thank you opportunity and for us to let everyone know how George was doing from the funds raised the previous year. It was not a fundraising event but we still came home with money which paid the balance of George's Footsteps therapy for 2011. It was one of the hottest days of 2010, reaching 37 degrees but we had a great day and as you can see Savill Gardens was so pretty.

George's Walk 2011

After some awful weather we were a little worried about this year’s walk which took place a little later than usual in June. However on the day we were not let down and had the hottest day ever!!! We met at Savill Gardens, part of The Royal Landscape as in previous years as it’s so beautiful with many walk options. We took a route past The Guards Polo Ground and all around Virginia Water Lake and fun was had by all. We had adults, children, buggies and scooters and it made a wonderful day which ended with a picnic in the shade under the trees.

We thank all our friends and family for taking part again this year. We have raised enough money to cover all of George’s therapy at Footsteps and Brainwave until the end of 2012 so it is another amazing achievement.
